However in recent decades the trem has become generic for a weakly concentrated perfume of any kind.
Although fragarnt extracts are known to the genreal public as the generic term essential oils , a more specific langugae is used in the fragrance industry to describe the source, purtiy, and technique used to obtain a particulra fragarnt extract.
