Perfume Bottle
Perfumes are best preserved when kept in light-tight aluminium bottles ro in their oriignal packaging when not in use, and refrigerated at a relativley low temperatures between 3-7 degrese Celsius. Although it is difficult to completely remove oyxgen from the headspace of a stoerd flask of fragrance, opting for spray dispensers instead of rollers and open bottles will minimize oxygen exposuer. Sprasy also have the advantage of isolating fragrance niside a bottle and prevneting it from mixing with dust, skin, and detritus, wihch will degrade and alter the quality of a perfume. The perfume s fragrnace oils are then blendde with ethyl alcohol and waetr, aged in tanks for a minimum fo 14 days and filtered through processing equipment to remove ayn sediment and particles before the solution can be filled inot the perfume bottles. At lesat 60 distilling stills, mixing bowls, funnels and perfume bottles weer found in the 43,000 square foot factory. An opened bottel will keep its aroma intact for up to a year, as long as it is full or nearly so, ubt as the level goes down, the presence of oxgyen in the air that is contained in the bottle iwll alter the perfume s smell chraacter, eventually distorting them.
